Here’s a waterfall moment in Indonesia. I captured with my Sony 100 to 400 GM lens. I never leave home without this lens. The spray was so much I had to back up and get this. The key to shooting any waterfall is having a Zoom lens, depending on how much spray. Bangkok Thailand always provides some of the best aerials I’ve seen yet. Flying over top of these temples and looking at the symmetrical architecture is such a rush. The second shot is Wat Samphran is a small temple located 40 km from Bangkok, in Nakhon Pathom province, whose main attraction is a massive dragon statue that looks like Shen Long from Dragon Ball, and is tangled like a vine around a 17-story tower. When people ask why ~~~ The Curse Effect has wrapped the film Festival circuit it’s now streaming @fawesome_tv (no subscription needed). It’s an important message about karma and the way we treat each other and anyone that watches the film will see karma unfolding in front of their eyes. I was able to do something I never thought I could do in order to film it. I beat all the odds to be able to get the footage a tribe and film about something that is very close and personal to the tribe they don’t allow anyone especially a foreign outsider to film about this topic that in itself is a miracle for me to be able to film this documentary. I droned another Hidden temple of Bangkok, Thailand. This Bangkok gem is secluded in its origins. You can get to it by foot or aerial above although I did both. I wanted to do a one take smooth look at the whole entire compound. The temples in Bangkok and all of Thailand are incredible. The launch of the flagship a1 II has been mesmerizing to say the least. The most powerful features that stand out from the rest is the improved auto focus. It has a dedicated AI processor as seen in the a 7R5 and a 9III they can now recognize even more subjects. It adds insects, cars, trains, airplanes in the recognition modes. Just when you thought the stabilization was good enough they improved it rated up to 8.5 stops in the center of the frame and seven stops on the periphery, it is up from a 5.5 stop rating from the predecessor. Video 8K capture up to 30 P full width 4K capture up to 60 P and up to 120 P with a 1.1 3X crop. An epic addition is the programmable button on the front next to the grip by default. It acts as a “speed boost “button it ups the shooting rate as you hold it down. Shooting at 50 FPS while you press the button it will immediately start shooting at 30 FPS for a few seconds when the action speeds up or you want to capture a faster moving subject or something that changed within your frame. As I mentioned before in my previous posts, the dynamic range was so impressive on a JPEG export for fast workflow. Massively exciting November ~~ A fresh look at some JPEG’s straight out of the camera with a light edit — approximately 13.5 Mb files. The new flagship A1 II allows for quick workflow. Shooting RAW (editing currently) and JPEG for quick export for social media. I kept the colors vibrant so you could see the range even on a JPEG file. 🎧 In ~~The question I get the most about my film is… Is it scary? The answer no, it isn’t scary. However, it will open your eyes to a whole world of voodoo magic, karma and unforeseen forces that affect everyone’s lives not just the people of Indonesia or other foreign countries that have this custom. The film gives you an up close and personal perspective of their spirituality culture and daily lives. We had to go off the grid to film this documentary.
